One of the better word games that is sure to provide much entertainment and amusement for players is a game named Anagrams that was once published by Whitman Publishing Company and which had its copyright date going all the way back to the year 1934, which only shows how popular word games have been over the years. In fact, the history of word games such as Anagrams goes back many centuries and was even known to have been played in ancient times with some games dating back to as long ago as third century B.C. when a poet of Greek origin was supposed to have been rewarded for the transposition of a king’s name into something that meant “made of honey”.
